This one-day workshop will gather youth leaders in parishes and at the diocesan level to re-imagine a ministry to youth in the 21st century that sustains and honors community. How do you feed yourself as a youth leader? How do you feed your program? How can we nurture a space that invites teens to explore a living relationship with the Holy within community? What spiritual practices will sustain teens and their faith in a post-modern world? Together we will learn habits of community that honor God, self and neighbor in an increasingly dynamic world.

Jenifer Gamber is a life-long Episcopalian and the author of My Faith, My Life: A Teen’s Guide to the Episcopal Church. This book provides teens with the opportunity to learn about the Christian faith that into which they have been baptized and invites them to consider what spiritual disciplines will sustain their faith and ministry in the world. She is a regular contributor to Episcopal Teacher, leads retreats and workshops for youth and the adults who mentor them, and continues to be deeply involved in youth ministry in her parish and diocese.
